A Beautiful Saturday Morning

Just a Saturday mini-blog...

It's a drop dead gorgeous morning in Dayton. Bright sun, blue sky, cool breezes, comfortable temps. There are a couple birds singing in the back yard but otherwise things are very quiet. And I have almost the whole day free. I 'm thinking of heading out to the deck with a mug of tea and my laptop to do some writing. Or maybe some reading. Or perhaps some of both.  Life is good.

I hope your day is looking as good to you.

It's beautiful here as well. The sky is blue and the ocean breeze is refreshing. Going to see eye doctor, then do some quilting and then top it off reading and enjoying the sun.

Same here though I envy Dru the ocean breezes. What a blessed relief after this horrid heat wave.

I've been lazy - reading and writing and just enjoying the day.

Hope you're enjoying yours!

Wow, sounds like Mother Nature is being kind to us all. Hope you both have a wonderful weekend.

Life is good in San Diego as well. We are home for the week-end, enjoying a cup of tea and a book too. My only responsibilities today are to do the laundry and to pack for spending the week with our kids in LA.I do read the blog but during the week it is a quick peek while chasing after a 2 year old granddaughter with no time to comment.

Wow, finding a comment from you was a treat I didn't expect tonight. I've been following the posts on CaringBridge, of course. Glad to know you're doing okay.

Spent most of the day emptying out closets and tossing old clothes and jackets. Amazing what you can find! The rule of thumb was if I have not worn it since I moved to Dayton, it had to go.
Guess I am jealous of your idyllic morning!
